Nowadays, whenever we go to a library science interview, we are openly asked, "How did you get into the field of library science?" Alternatively, "what inspired you to pursue a career in library science?"
Then we have two options for responding to these types of questions:
1. In brief, my professional goal in entering the field of library science is to broaden my knowledge, collect appropriate materials, and make them available to appropriate individuals.
2. I've loved reading books in general and in the form of stories since high school, but when I went to college, I used to go to my college library and read new books, and Time drew my attention to the volumes arranged in an orderly method in the library. At the time, I was unfamiliar with the library's activities and services. There used to be a librarian at our institution who was quite straightforward and easygoing. One day, I approached him and inquired about the arrangement of the library. Then he went on to say that the library science technique is being looked into for the library system. I've felt compelled to pursue a profession in library science ever since. He offered me to go to the university library for a walk. I noticed that volumes were organised in a certain order when I went to the campus bookshop. A catalogue sheet is used for obtaining books. A big number of staff are employed in the library. I was intrigued by library science, therefore, and wanted to study it.
Note: The answer that should be given in both cases depends on the mood of the interviewee and on how much he or she wants to hear from you.
